We're proud to report that thanks to her leadership, we've made it into Feeding America's 2015 Advocacy Hall of Fame!

Our nutrition educators strongly encourage parents to help their children develop healthy eating habits by offering a variety of fruits and vegetables every day. Studies show that getting kids in the kitchen to help prepare meals is a very effective way to teach them the value of eating well.

Working Together to Help Our Neighbors

Local hunger fighter Monica Barrera-Ruelas, an eligibility worker with the county, is passionate about connecting neighbors in need at St. Joseph's Family Center in Gilroy to CalFresh and other public benefit programs.
