Local Hunger Fighter: Rita Torres

Rita's dedication and generosity has contributed to the success of the Family Harvest program at Spartan Keyes Neighborhood Center in San Jose, where she is a site lead volunteer. Her bilingual skills help the many Spanish-speaking families at this site receive food they need to thrive.

Teens Fighting Hunger: Raga^N

Raga^N are a wonderfully talented group of young musicians. Trained in traditional Indian classical music, these teens decided they wanted to maximize their opportunities to play for a crowd by supporting Second Harvest at the same time!

Disaster Relief

Did you know that Second Harvest is prepared to deal with emergency situations should they arise in Silicon Valley? Additionally, we are willing and able to assist with national disasters. We recently sent 32 pallets of food to Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.
