The season of giving is upon us. Supporters have many amazing and creative ways to give back and fight hunger for our neighbors. This list is loaded with cool events and nifty promotions in the coming weeks that benefit Second Harvest and the community we help.

Hope Over Adversity

Second Harvest helps feed nearly 57,000 seniors each month. Please take a moment to watch a video and read about our great friend Mansoor, former racquetball champion.

Teens Fighting Hunger: San Mateo High School

Every year, thousands of Holiday Drives are run to help fight hunger in Silicon Valley. San Mateo High School's drive has been going strong for years. Seniors Marina and Vida are running this year's drive and explain why they're committed to the cause.

Local Hunger Fighter: Fred Bock

Fred is the Program Manager of Food Pantry Operations at West Valley Community Services. West Valley Community Services is committed to limiting waste by participating in rescuing food. They also have a great program involving a Diabetes Challenge Box!

Cruisin' for a Cause

San Jose's Goombahs Car Club have been running an annual fundraiser for 10 years. In that time they've helped provide approximately 100,000 nutritious meals!

Don't Touch That (Raw) Turkey!
