The Food Advisory Council is a
network of food industry leaders and community partners who support
Second Harvest's Food Resources team. By offering advice and guidance,
the Council helps us explore new ways to obtain food and find solutions
to specific food-related needs and challenges. Our objective is to
increase the volume and variety of nutritious food sources and make
optimum use of the funds available for food purchasing.
With
sensitivity to our member's busy schedules, we will be funneling all
communication through an online discussion board. The online tool will
allow us to share information without requiring our council to attend
another meeting. We hope this format makes participation convenient and
productive for everyone involved.
We would like
to thank our council members for their collaboration and support. With
their help we are better able to nourish our community.
