  2. I have children; is there a program to get food for my family?
    Yes, the Food Bank Family Harvest Program provides monthly bags of groceries to low-income families with children at sites in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. To learn about the site nearest you, call 1-800-984-3663.

    Your family may be eligible for other programs such as food stamps and Women, Infants, and Children. Call 1-800-984-3663 for more information.

  3. My children get breakfast and lunch at school.
    Where can they get food during summer vacation?

    Hot meals for children under the age of 18 are available at a variety of locations during the summer months. Call 1-800-984-3663 for the location nearest you.

  4. I'm a senior; where can I go to get help?
    Operation Brown Bag provides weekly bags of groceries to low-income seniors and disabled individuals over the age of 55. To learn about the site nearest you, call 1-800-984-3663.

  5. I'm interested in volunteering and I also need food.
    What can I do?

    The Food Bank has a program for low-income volunteers called Partners in Need (PIN). You can volunteer at either of our facilities in San Jose or San Carlos and receive food. Call 1-800-984-3663 to register.

  6. My family needs more food; can I get food
    from more than one program?

    Yes, if you qualify, you may participate in more than one program. Call 1-800-984-3663 to learn about your options.

  7. I am a senior taking care of my grandchildren.
    Can I be in the Food Bank's program?

    Yes, if you have records that your grandchildren live with you full time, you may qualify for Family Harvest. Call 1-800-984-3663 for more information.

  8. How can I apply for Food Stamps?
