Snacks are important, especially for kids! More than a quarter of kids’ daily calories may come from snacks. Kids who have healthy eating patterns are more likely to perform better academically.

Second Harvest provides snacks for our children's program. All of the snacks meet the USDA Smart Snack Guidelines. Most of them do have to be shelf-stable and individually wrapped since our snack programs may not have refrigeration.
