Despite the June 15 economic reopening in California, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley will not be accepting walk-in, community food donations. This policy allows us to continue operating at the highest level of efficiency possible in order to keep up with the demand, which is still double what it was pre-pandemic.
Second Harvest has made significant operational changes to meet double the need since the pandemic began. To maintain social distancing standards and operate at the highest level of efficiency, we are not accepting community food donations, including food drives. You can still help fill this virtual barrel with much needed protein, dairy and more.
