Marcus Bryant is a senior-level business executive; industry thought leader, and subject matter expert with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He currently serves as the Chief People & Inclusion Officer at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, one of the largest food banks in the United States.
Marcus is certified through some of the most prominent organizations in his field. He holds a Senior Certified Professional designation (SHRM-SCP) through Society for Human Resource Management — the world’s largest certifying body for HR professionals and executives. Additionally, he is a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) through the Institute for Diversity Certification and a distinguished member of both CNBC’s Workforce Executive Council and Forbes Global Human Resource Council.
Marcus has been honored with several awards and accolades over the years — most recently being named a 2022 Forty Under 40 Honoree by South Carolina’s Regional Business Journal.
Marcus earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Charleston Southern University and is a Juris Doctor candidate specializing in labor, employment, and civil rights at the Colleges of Law.
