\u00bfPuedes contarnos un poco m\u00e1s sobre la competencia de los equipos durante el evento?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Siobhan Kenney<\/strong>: Los voluntarios se organizan en equipos para empacar cajas que se mueven por una "cinta transportadora" humana. Se llenan con elementos id\u00e9nticos y luego se apilan en paletas al final de la l\u00ednea. Si bien la seguridad y la calidad son siempre nuestros objetivos principales, los equipos se vuelven un poco competitivos y est\u00e1n felices de informar a los dem\u00e1s, con muchos gritos de celebraci\u00f3n, cuando se completa cada plataforma.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que m\u00e1s te gust\u00f3 del evento de este a\u00f1o?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tom Larkins<\/strong>: Me gusta ver a los ni\u00f1os y padres trabajando juntos. Hay un trabajo para todos, incluso para los ni\u00f1os que no pueden ver por encima de las mesas. Steve<\/strong>: Dos cosas se destacan para m\u00ed. Primero, he aprendido mucho sobre la diversidad de personas que usan un banco de alimentos y he compartido esta informaci\u00f3n con los empleados de Applied. Cuando se entera de la necesidad, lo inspira a involucrarse para ayudar a abordar el problema. Y, en segundo lugar, sigo sorprendido por la generosidad de los empleados de Applied y otros donantes en Silicon Valley a quienes les apasiona ayudar a aliviar el hambre.<\/p>\n
