Le chef Reynolds Stewart de Cityteam San Jose, un organisme sans but lucratif confessionnel offrant de la nourriture, un abri et des programmes de transformation, attribue des ingr\u00e9dients de qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 Second Harvest pour avoir soutenu son d\u00e9vouement au service.<\/p>\n<p>Le 1er novembre<sup>st<\/sup>, Cityteam commence \u00e0 collecter de la sauce aux canneberges, des l\u00e9gumes en conserve et une partie des 500 livres de pommes de terre qui seront servies le jour de Thanksgiving. M\u00eame les dindes \u00e0 r\u00f4tir commencent des semaines avant les vacances avec 150 cuites dans un four qui ne convient qu&#039;\u00e0 12 oiseaux \u00e0 la fois. R\u00f4ties par lots, ces dindes subissent ensuite une cong\u00e9lation rapide dans du bouillon et attendent jusqu&#039;\u00e0 Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p>Les produits frais et sains de Second Harvest constituent le fondement de la cuisine du chef Reynolds. Il a h\u00e2te de faire du shopping dans notre entrep\u00f4t, car les caisses hautes de courgettes vibrantes font que le b\u00e2timent &quot;se sent comme le paradis&quot;. Il est reconnaissant de la libert\u00e9 de construire des repas sur des composants sains - les petits d\u00e9jeuners comprennent toujours des \u0153ufs \u00e0 la vapeur, des fruits color\u00e9s, des viandes et des p\u00e2tisseries \u00e9nergisantes.<\/p>\n<p>Le jour de Thanksgiving, Cityteam ouvre ses portes \u00e0 6 heures du matin avec un petit-d\u00e9jeuner comprenant un bar \u00e0 omelettes sur mesure.
