Nous avons \u00e9galement l&#039;occasion de recharger nos batteries et de plaider devant les l\u00e9gislateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Nous devons prot\u00e9ger les programmes f\u00e9d\u00e9raux qui nourrissent nos clients. Second Harvest nourrit plus de 260 000 personnes chaque mois, et nous atteignons ce nombre gr\u00e2ce aux programmes f\u00e9d\u00e9raux. Pour chaque repas fourni par le r\u00e9seau Feeding America, 12 repas sont fournis par SNAP, le programme f\u00e9d\u00e9ral d&#039;aide \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9picerie (appel\u00e9 CalFresh en Californie). De plus, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont besoin de repas scolaires et d&#039;\u00e9t\u00e9 pour vivre leur meilleure vie.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;administration actuelle a menac\u00e9 de couper CalFresh dans le Farm Bill jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce qu&#039;ils soient d\u00e9faits au Congr\u00e8s. Nous avons \u00e9galement parl\u00e9 personnellement avec les repr\u00e9sentants Zoe Lofgren, Anna Eshoo et Jimmy Panetta.
