Shobana Gubbi is sinds 2022 Chief Philanthropy Officer van Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. Ze kwam oorspronkelijk in 2015 bij Second Harvest als Director of Major Gifts. Nadat ze een indrukwekkende groei in de inkomsten uit grote giften had geleid, werd ze gepromoveerd tot Director of Leadership Gifts voordat ze uiteindelijk Chief Philanthropy Officer van de organisatie werd. Ze wordt gecrediteerd voor het opbouwen van een sterk team van fondsenwervers, het benutten van data-analyses voor inzichten om nieuwe fondsenwervingsstrategie\u00ebn te informeren en het prioriteren en opbouwen van diepe relaties met donoren.<\/p>\n

Shobana begon haar carri\u00e8re in de commerci\u00eble wereld en zette haar ingenieursdiploma van UC Berkeley in als projectmanager, software-engineer en productmanager voor verschillende technologiebedrijven in de Bay Area. Daarna ging ze de roeping aan om haar gemeenschap te dienen. Eerst als uitvoerend directeur van de Los Altos Educational Foundation en daarna als Major Gift Officer bij het Amerikaanse Rode Kruis, voordat ze bij Second Harvest ging werken.<\/p>\n

In haar vrije tijd leest Shobana graag, wandelt ze en kookt ze.<\/p>\n<\/div>
