Een door een donor geadviseerd fonds, dat lijkt op een liefdadigheidsspaarrekening, biedt u de flexibiliteit om aan te bevelen hoeveel en hoe vaak geld wordt toegekend aan Second Harvest of Silicon Valley en andere goede doelen.<\/p>\n
U draagt contant geld of andere activa over aan een belastingvrije sponsororganisatie, zoals een openbare stichting. U kunt dan aanbevelen - maar niet direct - hoeveel en hoe vaak er geld wordt toegekend. Bovendien vermijdt u de kosten en complexiteit van het beheer van een particuliere stichting.<\/p>\n

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is een 501 (c) (3) onderneming; federale belasting-ID # 94-2614101.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> Een voorbeeld van hoe het werkt<\/p><\/h2><\/div> Joe en Laura willen iets terugdoen voor hun geboorteplaats door hun geld daar te plaatsen waar het het beste is. Ze richten een $100,000 donor geadviseerd fonds op met een gemeenschapsstichting.<\/p>\n Het echtpaar ontvangt een federale inkomstenbelasting voor het bedrag van de gift. De stichting overhandigt de goede doelen cheques van het Megan Fund, die Joe en Laura hebben genoemd ter ere van hun dochter.
