Patricia Legaspi is Senior Director of Engineering bij Google, waar ze al bijna twintig jaar werkt en leiding geeft aan Engineering Productivity in verschillende projecten en teams, waaronder Toolbar, Search en Geo. Momenteel leidt ze het Android Engineering Productivity-team, waar ze schaalbare oplossingen voor de ontwikkeling en het testen van Android mogelijk maakt. Patricia behaalde een bachelordiploma in computerwetenschappen aan het Mills College in Oakland en droeg bij aan onderzoek naar rekenbetrouwbaarheid aan de University of California, Berkeley.<\/p>\n

Patricia, geboren en getogen in de East Bay, waardeert onderwijs en dienstverlening aan haar gemeenschap. Ze is de dochter van Mexicaanse immigranten en identificeert zich als Mexicaans-Amerikaans. Ze heeft bijgedragen aan inspanningen op het gebied van onderwijs en gemeenschapsondersteuning via TechBridge en Oakland Dollars for Scholars. Ze is nu moeder van twee tienermeisjes en heeft haar dochters soortgelijke waarden bijgebracht. Haar vader moedigde Patricia vooral aan om mensen te helpen de basisbehoeften te krijgen die ze nodig hebben, zoals voedsel. Haar familie doet regelmatig vrijwilligerswerk in hun gemeenschap, onder meer bij Glide Memorial, waar ze helpen in de keuken. Patricia trad in 2022 toe tot het Second Harvest Board.<\/p>\n<\/div>
