Katharine Carroll is oprichter en huidige Managing Partner van The reSolve Group, een residentieel vastgoedbedrijf in Silicon Valley. Voorafgaand aan haar huidige rol was ze professioneel wielrenner en nam ze zowel nationaal als internationaal deel aan het USA Cycling National Team. Zij en haar vrouw, Alison Rosenthal, blijven in alle opzichten behoorlijk actief: fysiek, professioneel en filantropisch. Ze zijn allebei voorstanders van burger- en mensenrechtenwerk, en Katharine heeft zitting gehad in de National Leadership Council van het National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) en in het Executive Committee van de Silicon Valley-afdeling van Human Rights Watch (HRW).<\/p>\n

Katharine houdt van koken en verwelkomt vrienden bij hen thuis voor heerlijke maaltijden en leuke gesprekken. Ze is in 2022 lid geworden van de Second Harvest Board omdat ze gelooft dat de meeste geweldige momenten in het leven plaatsvinden tijdens een gedeelde maaltijd en dat toegang tot gezond voedsel een recht is, en geen voorrecht. Tijdens de pandemie wilden zij en haar vrouw gezinnen helpen die getroffen waren door baanverlies en andere ontberingen, en ze werden ge\u00efnspireerd door de effici\u00ebnte en effectieve manier waarop Second Harvest of Silicon Valley zich mobiliseerde om de toegenomen behoefte in onze gemeenschap te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<\/div>
