Aan het einde van dit jaar hebben we een leuke oefening gemaakt om onze negen meest gedenkwaardige verhalen en evenementen uit te zoeken. Zonder verder oponthoud, hier is onze Best Nine 2017:<\/p>\n

Beste vermelding in het nieuws<\/strong> - The Guardian artikel<\/a> benadrukte resultaten van ons onderzoek waaruit bleek dat 26.8% van de bevolking van Silicon Valley in aanmerking komt als 'voedselonzeker'.<\/p>\n

Beste onderschrijving van beroemdheden<\/strong> - We hadden het geluk dat fotograaf en influencer Ben Von Wong zich vrijwillig aanmeldde en zijn talenten gebruikte om de honger van kinderen in de schijnwerpers te zetten in onze When Hunger Hits-campagne. Toen George Takei nog een stap verder ging en heeft de video van Von Wong gedeeld met zijn miljoenen volgers<\/a>, we zijn absoluut onder de indruk!<\/p>\n

Beste Facebook Live-uitzending<\/strong>- Velen waren verrast en verheugd om ons te zien hoe voedselbankiers kostuums en breken onze bewegingen tijdens een live uitzending op Facebook<\/a> op Giving Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Beste gebruik van Turkije-kostuum<\/strong> - Cindy McCown, onze vice-president voor gemeenschapsbetrokkenheid en beleid, abseinde het Adobe-gebouw in een kalkoenkostuum. Waargebeurd verhaal.<\/a><\/p>\n

Beste nieuwe hashtag voor ons<\/strong> - Hoe enthousiast zijn we allemaal bij Second Harvest om onze gemeenschap door ons werk te helpen? #totpumped<\/a><\/p>\n

Beste 'nee' ik 'in' TEAM''inspanning<\/strong> - Helaas hebben in 2017 in het hele land veel natuurrampen plaatsgevonden. Een netwerk van voedselbanken kwam samen om te voorzien broodnodig voedsel voor noodhulp<\/a> naar voedselbanken, zoals Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa.<\/p>\n

Beste verhaal uit het veld<\/strong> - Soms is het verkeerd bellen het juiste nummer. In dit jaar meest populaire verhaal uit het veld<\/a>, Hotline-specialist van Food Connection Quy vertelt hoe ze een senior hielp om voedselprogramma's aan te sluiten waarvan hij niet wist dat hij daarvoor in aanmerking kwam.<\/p>\n
