Second Harvest besloot om te werken aan het dichten van de kloof door middel van klantmarketing. We gaan drie doelen aanpakken:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Begrijp onze klanten.<\/strong> We weten dat er een grote verscheidenheid aan mensen is die voedsel nodig hebben, waaronder gezinnen, senioren, studenten en immigranten. We moeten de specifieke behoeften van elk van deze groepen achterhalen, zodat we met hen kunnen communiceren en ze op de juiste manier kunnen bedienen. Er valt veel te leren.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vertel het verder.<\/strong> Een voorbeeld van hoe we contact maken met mensen is via advertenties. We hebben onlangs een succesvolle digitale advertentiecampagne gevoerd en advertenties geplaatst in bushokjes die gratis zomermaaltijden promoten. We gaan binnenkort experimenteren met radio.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zorg ervoor dat onze services voldoen aan de behoeften van klanten.<\/strong> Client Marketing onderzoekt wat klanten nodig hebben om te bepalen waar wijzigingen moeten worden aangebracht. Moeten we bijvoorbeeld de voedseldistributietijden wijzigen om werkende gezinnen te huisvesten? Mensen hebben meerdere banen, zijn super druk en hebben een stressvol leven. Of ze hebben een vast inkomen en het bieden van het gezonde voedsel dat ze nodig hebben is erg moeilijk. We leven in een bloeiende economie en je kijkt naar Silicon Valley en denkt: &quot;Iedereen doet het goed.&quot; In werkelijkheid heeft de bloeiende economie de huren ongelooflijk verhoogd, waardoor het voor gezinnen en veel mensen in onze gemeenschap erg moeilijk is om hun hoofd boven water te houden. We willen mensen vertellen: &#039;Het is prima om hulp te vragen.
