Prepared Food Donations

Second Harvest Food Bank is a large scale non-profit food distributor. We acquire and distribute more than one million pounds of nutritious food each week. We distribute fresh produce and other grocery products to a network of 300 non-profit organizations who directly serve our hungry neighbors.

Unfortunately we are not able to accept prepared or catered foods. If you are a restaurant, caterer or other businesses trying to donate left-over prepared food items, we encourage you to donate to a local non-profit that serves meals onsite.

All food donations to meal-based feeding organizations must be sealed with an ingredient label and preparation date.

Please keep in mind that small local nonprofit organizations have extremely limited staffing and many are not able to arrange pick-ups of prepared food donations. Whenever possible, prearranged drop-offs are greatly appreciated!
