Tom Clark
Chief Operating Officer

Tom Clark joined Second Harvest in 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience across Fortune 500 and private companies in the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and retail sectors. He has held senior operations positions for Peet’s Coffee, Schwan’s Company, Target Corp. and Diageo PLC; and has led procurement, manufacturing, quality, planning, warehousing and transportation operations. Prior to Second Harvest, Tom served as Head of Coffee Roasting and Distribution for The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Southern California.
Over the years, Tom has developed a deep appreciation for the interdependency of collaboration, team development and operational excellence; and has applied his hands-on, customer-focused style to achieve both transformational and continuous improvement objectives. His expertise in optimizing complex, multi-channel supply chains has led to large-scale operational improvements across distribution, warehousing, logistics, and transportation.
Tom is eager to leverage his passion for leadership and operations to help advance Second Harvest’s mission of ending hunger in the community.
Tom earned his MBA from University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Outside of work, he enjoys staying connected with his three adult daughters along with traveling, skiing and cooking.
