“Personal Information” means information such as your first/middle initial or name, last name, email address, phone number, street address, date of birth, demographic information and household size, health information (from donors if provided), and other information that would allow someone to identify you or someone in your household, or contact you or someone in your household, including information collected through cookies and other technology.

We collect information from you when you voluntarily provide it, using automated technology, and through third party sources. We may combine data from third party sources including through other companies, exchanging mailing lists, and database co-operatives.

We may collect Personal Information about you when you interact with us, including when you:

  • sign up to our email list;
  • request food assistance, schedule or request appointments, or ask to be contacted about available food and other social services;
  • use our website to find food, pantry locations, grocery distributions, home-delivered groceries, or other social services;
  • register or sign up to volunteer with us;
  • contact us by email, phone, or through our website or through the food connection hotline;
  • click to share our content or download a recipe;
  • make a donation; and
  • any other information you provide to us directly.

Personal Information also includes information collected and maintained through your use of our website, including your personal preferences.

When you browse our website, we collect information about you through your browser, computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP address, device ID, browser type, domain names, access times and dates, number of clicks, pages viewed, one or more cookies (as described below) that may uniquely identify your browser, and referring website addresses.

We also collect and maintain aggregate anonymous information about usage of and visitors to our website.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • send you newsletters, updates, and other communications about our organization, services, programs, events and opportunities;
  • respond to your inquiries;
  • communicate with you regarding donations, volunteer activities, registrations, appointments, requests for assistance, event updates, and related information;
  • process your donations and share some donor information with service providers and third parties;
  • help connect individuals and households with food assistance;
  • process and respond to requests for food assistance, appointments, referrals, or other program-related services;
  • facilitate advertising and marketing, including direct marketing;
  • administer and maintain our website;
  • improve our website, services, and outreach; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

You may subscribe, unsubscribe, or manage your subscription to communications at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link provided in each email or by contacting donor.relations@shfb.org to change your information or remove yourself from our mailing list.

5. How We Share Your Personal Information

We disclose Personal Information you provide to service providers and contractors that we use to support our services and operations, such as vendors that help us communicate with you and payment processors.

We may disclose Personal Information to service providers, contractors, and partner organizations that help us provide food assistance, connect individuals and households with pantry, grocery, delivery, or other food access services, respond to requests for assistance, coordinate appointments or referrals, and otherwise support our programs and operations.

We may also share your Personal Information with third parties such as advertising companies and marketing entities. See section below titled “Advertising and Behavioral Marketing” for additional information.

We may disclose Personal Information to outside parties if required to do so by law, regulation or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We may also disclose your Personal Information to governmental agencies and/or law enforcement if we believe your actions violate a law, regulation, this Privacy Policy or any applicable website terms of use, or if you threaten the rights, property or safety of us, our website, any other users or third party.

Second Harvest has a short code for opt-in communications via text. Data obtained through the short code program will not be shared with any third-parties for their marketing reasons/purposes. No mobile phone information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All opt-in and mobile consent data will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small, removable data files that are stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. A “web beacon” is a small object or image that is embedded into a web page, application, or email and is used to track activity. They are also sometimes referred to as pixels and tags.

  • quyên góp; và

Thông Tin Cá Nhân cũng bao gồm thông tin được nhận và lưu trữ thông qua việc quý vị truy cập trang mạng của chúng tôi, bao gồm các sở thích cá nhân của quý vị.

Khi quý vị truy cập trang mạng của chúng tôi, chúng tôi nhận và lưu trữ thông tin về quý vị thông qua trình duyệt, phần cứng và phần mềm máy tính của quý vị. Thông tin này có thể bao gồm địa chỉ IP, ID thiết bị, loại trình duyệt, tên miền, thời gian và ngày truy cập, số lần nhấp chuột, các trang đã xem, một hoặc nhiều loại cookie (như mô tả bên dưới) có thể để nhận dạng trình duyệt của quý vị, và địa chỉ của trang mạng giới thiệu.

  • xử lý và trả lời các yêu cầu về hỗ trợ thực phẩm, lịch hẹn, giới thiệu hoặc các dịch vụ khác liên quan đến chương trình;
  • tăng cường quảng bá các hoạt động quảng cáo và tiếp thị, bao gồm cả tiếp thị trực tiếp;
  • quản lý và duy trì trang mạng của chúng tôi;
  • cải thiện trang mạng, dịch vụ và các hoạt động tiếp cận cộng đồng của chúng tôi; và

Second Harvest có một mã số ngắn để gửi thông tin theo hình thức đăng ký nhận tin nhắn qua điện thoại di động. Dữ liệu nhận và lưu trữ từ mã số ngắn này sẽ không được chia sẻ với bất kỳ bên thứ ba vì mục đích tiếp thị. 6. Cookie

6. Cookie (網頁瀏覽器儲存)
